Something from Kate:
As you can see, Jonathan had a little bit of excitement as well this week... He had a work-related injury (Dodgeball at the New Year's lock-in!) and ended up needing surgery to repair his ring finger today! He has taken it like a champ, already seems back to normal and had a great surgery experience. Hopefully the pain won't kick in too badly once the nerve block wears off in the next few hours. I guess this excuses him from diaper duty for a few weeks anyway-- but I'm sure he'll get plenty of chances to work on that after he heals. It will be one more funny memory to look back on from our son's first days and weeks of life. We can't do anything the boring way, after all!
Love you all so much, and can't wait to post the big news sometime soon!

You really won't be able to even think about diapers with that thing on. I hope Baby Shaw won't be scared of it! ;)
