Graham's first Easter (and a little more)

Graham enjoyed his first Easter on Sunday! Not only did he get to nap through the sermon, but he enjoyed LOTS of positive attention after service as everyone ooed and aahed over his handsome little self. What fun! Here's a morning shot with Shosho before the service.
He is becoming such a charming little guy these days! He is SO interested in the world around him; today he spent about 15 minutes straight just looking up at me, smiling and talking. Unfortunately he's also been battling his first cold this week, but it seems to bother me almost more than it does him. He's just such a sweet boy. Here's a picture of my boys relaxing together:

And let's see, one more...

Aunt Emily's visit

We won't clutter this up with too many words, because we have a bunch of great pictures. We're just enjoying time with Emily, and waiting for Shosho to return from Pennsylvania this weekend. So far, we've had some good times together! Recent milestones: lots of smiles and new coos every day, big time push-ups while on his tummy, and of course, major growth! It seems like he's a new boy every day; those newborn clothes are definitely a thing of the past. So, without further ado:

Lazin' with Aunt Em

His chubby old man pose,

And he's becoming a good imitator!

We'll end with some family photos- what fun!

Just adorable pictures!

Hello everyone! We're getting lots of great pictures now that Grandma Shosho is here, so we just have to share them with you. Here's one with proof that he's actually smiling now- the first time we've actually caught it on camera! This is right after a good meal, when he sometimes like to have a chat with mom, lots of sweet little coos and beautiful smiles.

Here's another great one with his dad- isn't he starting to look like a big boy?? Fortunately, the dimples are just getting deeper as those cheeks grow.

I suppose we'll leave you with one more showing off his beautiful blues. They seem to be getting bluer at the moment, so we're wondering if maybe he'll keep them- time will tell!

Shosho is here!

Grandma Shaw arrived last night. Hooray! Graham's in love and the feeling is mutual.

He was so happy he did the following dance with his dad (sorry it's a bit long, I couldn't edit it):

We miss you all, hope to see you soon.

Love,

Jon, Kate, Shosho and Graham

A few more pictures

Hello everyone! I can't believe how time flies! I'm already over a month into my leave from work, and I am enjoying every minute of watching Graham grow and develop. He is really starting to enjoy his surroundings, and is making eye contact; we think we've seen some real smiles, although it's hard to tell for sure. Whether he knows what he's doing or not, when he shows those dimples it sure melts the heart!
I forgot to post the pictures of Graham in his circus pajamas from Belgium that Aunt Emily sent, so I will put those up now(I picked the one where his face was starting to match the outfit- he doesn't like to be put down if he's not in the mood!). Also, we had a good friend from RVA, Nancy Shadlock, come to visit, so she took a picture of the three of us together- those are hard to get when it's just us! In other exciting news, we are expecting some wonderful visits soon- Grandma (ShoSho) Shaw will be here in just a few days, and Auntie Em will soon follow. We can't wait!
Love to each of you! Kate

Graham is a month old!

Yes he is. And to commemorate, here is a test video clip of the day of his birth:

Thanks for checking in.
