More Guests, Graham is so cute!

Our great friend Tim came to visit from Arkansas. It was wonderful to see him. Here we are holding our babies:
















Graham is so fun. He went on a big weekend youth event with us last weekend and was tuckered out. Today he hung out with Jon all day again. Here's some pictures after Kate came home:

Back to Work, Wonderful Guests...

Hello all, phew it's been busy recently.

First of all, the trip Jon is helping to lead to China this summer is up in the air, because the location of their work site was Chengdu, which you all no doubt know was afflicted by a devastating earthquake last week.

Next, Kate went back to work today, leaving Jonathan and Graham together for 13 hours! The longest Kate and Graham had been apart previously was 2 hours, so Jon was a bit nervous about it. But they had an absolutely wonderful day together, and got a lot of great bonding in. Here's the end of the day picture, you can't fake those smiles:




















Graham is really beginning to reveal his personality, and based on what he's like so far, he's going to be a really sweet guy. He loves to smile and giggle in a breathy way, and he loves to hold hands. He's into watching us be weird and now does a little squeely shriek all the time just to join in the conversation. Here he is with his hair styled by mom to look like a 40 year old businessman:



















The other big news is that we had our cousins Megan and Daniel visit us. It was wonderful to see them and to meet Daniel for the first time, and to have them meet Graham:

Mom Brandon is here!

We just got back from the airport with Mom Brandon. It's great to have her here and Graham and Mom are already bonding big time:

3 months old!

Well, we just got back from a walk around the neighborhood, and thought we should get some pictures of Graham now that he is officially over three months old! Unfortunately we couldn't get the biggest smiles out of Graham as he just woke up from a nap, and the camera just kept missing them. We'll try to get a video of his giggles soon! Until then, he's a few of his first bowling outing with our 20-somethings church group (that was a couple of weeks ago) and then from the walk today. Enjoy!

Beach Baby

This past weekend Graham took his first airplane ride when we traveled to California to visit dear friends Phil and Emily Greene, and their adorable children Jonathan and Evelyn. Graham had been having a very rough day the day we left (I think he had a virus because he was definitely under the weather) so we offered lots of prayers for his attitude on the airplane. He was perfect! Hardly a fuss either way!

Once we were there we had such a wonderful time. The weather was glorious, lots of sun, so we took a 2+ mile hike to the beach, and enjoyed a lovely picnic by the Pacific ocean. Graham has also started going to bed earlier, so we got some grown-up time in the evening!

In other news, we've had a few fun milestones in the last week; last Wednesday he vocalized his first laughs with that beautiful smile, (Huh Huh Huh!) and yesterday he really got into batting and grabbing his toys, which seems to make him very proud and excited! We'll have to try and get a video of that! Well Graham is getting bored with this so I'd better go! Love you all!
